Read XenonDev's current developer onboarding docs, find where new users get stuck, and rewrite the first three pages so a developer can ship a "hello world" in under ten minutes.
XenonDev ships developer tools, and our onboarding docs have not kept up with the product. New signups tell us the first hour is confusing: too many concepts up front, install steps that assume context, and a "hello world" that takes 40 minutes instead of 10.
We need a fresh pair of eyes on the first three pages of our docs: Install, Quickstart, and First API Call. You'll work from the live docs site plus a short Loom from our DX lead walking through the known pain points. We'll also share three recorded new-user sessions so you can see exactly where people stall.
Deliverable: a short audit (what's broken, ranked by how often it bites new users) plus a rewrite of the three pages in Markdown. The rewrite should get a developer from signup to a working API call in under ten minutes, with no detours into advanced config.
What you'll get: access to the docs repo (read + branch), the three user-session recordings, our current style guide, and a 30-minute kickoff call with the DX team. We review on Friday of week two and merge what works.
No filler. Short sentences. Code samples that actually run.
